“Spirit of Cross” Essay Contest
You love the sport. You think about it year ‘round. You dig the bikes. You love the community and vibe. You live cyclocross.
Now tell us about it.
We’re looking for the best ‘cross content for our magazine, and that should come from you, the ‘real cross fans. Participation and being in print is its own reward, but we’ve got some sweet prizes for the best writings that convey the “spirit of cyclocross”

Important Stuff:
Email entries to [email protected] as text file or word doc attachments. 1000 word limit, entries must be original and unpublished, one entry per person. Void where prohibited, don’t plagiarize, decisions are final. Entrants grant Cyclocross Magazine the rights to reproduce and publish submitted content in the print magazine or website. Photos related to the literature and taken by the writer are optional but welcomed. Entries must be received by 12/1/07, 11:59 pm PST. Contest winner will be announced in Issue #2 and on Cyclocross Magazine’s website (https://cxmagazine.com)
Please submit your essay with your full name, address, phone number and email address. Entries may be edited for clarity or length if published. Unless entrants requests otherwise, contest sponsors may provide product marketing material to entrants. Redline and Cyclocross Magazine will make their best attempt to provide the winner with their choice of size, but there is no guarantee the size will be available at the time of award.
Note: our print mag lists the tubeless-ready Bulldog tires, but we have been informed that the tubeless ready version will most likely not be ready in time for this contest.
