Cincinnati Ohio-based Photographer Jason Whitman has had his amazing imagery published in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Vox, and ABC and NBC news. Yet photographing cycling competitions is one of his passions, especially cyclocross, despite the limited budget of our relatively niche sport.

Whitman made a week-long trip to Louisville, KY to indulge in his favorite subject matter and take in a week of cyclocross. He returned to the site of the 2013 UCI Cyclocross World Championships to photograph cyclocross racing without an imminent flood at Eva Bandman Park, and then hopped over to Joe Creason Park to document some of the country's best racers battling for the 2024 USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships and the stars and stripes jersey.
