On Saturday, we caught word Wout van Aert spent his Saturday fully embracing his trip to the U.S. by taking in an American football game. Van Aert, Steve Chainel and several other riders tailgated and then donned Iowa’s yellow and watched the Hawkeyes defeat North Texas at Kinnick Stadium.
On Sunday, I spoke with Van Aert about his experience at the Iowa Hawkeyes game and asked him if a switch of sports is in his future.
