With Saturday's race at Rochester Cyclocross holding a C1 designation, many of North America's top riders made the trip to Upstate New York, and they were also joined by a few international friends.

The course at Genesee Valley Park provided a technical challenge in the wooded section known as "The Jungle" and the double feature of "Double Trouble" but also the opportunity to hammer on a series of power straights on the back side of the course.

The woman of the weekend, as she was last year, was Maghalie Rochette (Specialized / Feedback Sports), who won both days in dominant fashion. On Saturday, she attacked midway through Lap 1, and for an encore on Sunday, she went from the gun and led wire-to-wire.

Also making a good showing was Clara Honsinger (Team S&M CX). Although no stranger to the UCI scene, the weekend did mark Honsinger's start as an Elite rider. It was a heckuva way to celebrate getting older, as Honsinger finished second on both days.
