Myles Romanow, promoter of the Whitmore’s Landscaping Super Cross Cup, rounds 8 and 9 of the MAC Powered by SRAM Cyclocross series, is proud to announce that one lucky entrant to his races in the Hamptons of Long Island will receive an otherwise unobtainable, made-to-measure Richard Sachs Cyclocross Team bike completely outfitted with SRAM Parts and Mavic Wheels. Every non-UCI entry at the Whitmore’s Landscaping Super Cross Cup on November 22 and 23 will receive one FREE raffle ticket toward the raffle for the Richard Sachs Cyclocross bike. Riders who race multiple races at Whitmore’s get one free raffle ticket per race.
Richard Sachs currently has a seven-year backlog for his Signature road frames, and is not currently taking orders from new clients. But this bike, which will be made to measure specifically for the winner of the contest, will be built along with next year’s RGM Watches – Richard Sachs – Boathouse Inc. pro team bikes. Once each year, Richard blocks out a 10-14 day work period and builds all the RS ‘Cross team frames en masse. The winner of the raffle will be receiving a team-issue race bike, with the same color and specifications as the pro team’s bikes, that will be delivered early next September in time for the start of the 2009 Cyclocross Season.
To enter the raffle, simply register for the Whitmore’s Landscaping Super Cross Cup at BikeReg.com, the official on-line pre-registration service of the MAC Powered by SRAM Cyclocross Series. You do not have to be present to win.
The Whitmore’s Landscaping Super Cross Cup races on November 22 and 23 are Rounds 8 and 9 of the “MAC Powered by SRAM Cyclocross Series” and the Finals for the new NACT. For more information, visit http://www.hamptonvelo.com/
