We have been taking a look back at the races from the season, and one that drew our attention came from Hungary, called the Volkswagen EtyekCross Race. Although the fields, laid out much like the participatory-centered races in the United States, were more often less than twenty riders, the venue they raced at is one of the most unique we’ve ever seen.

Riders rode through a film studio in two major sections. The first looks like it is supposed to be a setting that emulates New York City in the eighties with a downturn atmosphere and storefronts combating spray paint. After the riders race through a break in the open, they enter a Medieval backdrop that includes stonewalls, pillar laden courtyards and archery catwalks.

Hopefully they will put on another next year and continue to change the scenery! The video above was posted on YouTube from 4K productions.
