The 2016 Superprestige cyclocross series has given cyclocross fans two must-watch races, serving up two for-the-ages battles between Wout van Aert and Mathieu van der Poel.
The finale at Superprestige Gieten delivered plenty of drama, while today’s full race in Zonhoven was the mechanical-free, back-and-forth duel between the two young stars fans have been waiting for.
There was plenty of bike racing today, but we’d argue this race is the one to watch.
