As a first-year U23, Ben Gomez-Villafañe did not have enough UCI points to race in the Jingle Cross World Cup, but he was in Iowa City for the races on Friday and Sunday.
In addition to being a bike racer, Gomez-Villafañe is also an aspiring filmmaker. Last season, he put together a video about Tobin Ortenblad at Reno Nationals, and this year for the Jingle Cross World Cup he put together a short video highlighting the race and his Garneau-Easton p/b Transitions LifeCare teammates.
