Sophie De Boer (Breepark) won the 2017 Hansgrohe Superprestige Hoogstraten Elite Women’s race yesterday, putting a disappointing Worlds behind her and returning to her winning ways she displayed earlier this season.
Also returning to old form was Helen Wyman (Kona), with a strong comeback ride after an injury-plagued season.
Missing from the front were two favorites in newly-crowned World Champ Sanne Cant and Worlds silver medalist Marianne Vos.
