Verge BOSSCROSS Caps Northeast Cyclocross Season on December 16 in Walpole, MA
WALPOLE, MA—Final preparations are underway for the Verge Sport BOSSCROSS p/b 545 Velo cyclocross race at Adams Farm in Walpole, MA—located about 25 miles southwest of Boston—on December 16. We are pleased to have the cooperation of the Friends of Adams Farm and the Town of Walpole for this event.
There will be sponsor awards for the top three finishers in all non-elite races. The Elite Women and Men’s races presented by powermetercity.com each pay $1,000 total to 10 places.
BOSSCROSS is also host to the first Massachusetts Fat Bike State Championships. There will be trophies for Girls & Boys U15/U19 races, and medals for fat bike, singlespeed and kids’ races.
The course, gracing the field and meadow portion of the 365-acre Adams Farm preservation in rural Walpole, will have plenty of features and challenges. The roughly 1.3-mile lap eschews elevation in favor of frigid temps, tight turns, fast power sections, a set of barriers, Belgium steps that the best may dare to ride and a sand pit.

The New England Cyclocross community (#NECX) is really stepping up to make this a great event.”
Amenities include use of the large barn for registration and fire pits for warmth, neutral pit support provided by Velofix Boston, a club/sponsor tent row, Haute Coffee supplying coffee and breakfast foods, Chubby Chick Pea food truck for lunch, a beer tent featuring Jack’s Abby, Ryan Kelly announcing and DJing races, timing by Velocity Results and photographers.
