Although both Sanne Cant and Mathieu Ven der Poel were denied the win at the Hansgrohe Superprestige Spa Francorchamps, they proved victorious at the 2016 Zilvermeercross in Mol, Belgium. We have the full results for the Elite Women, Elite Men and Junior Men listed below.
In perhaps the busiest weekend of ‘cross season, our results of Zilvermeercross were delayed a bit. If you haven’t seen it, be sure to check out all of this weekend’s events including the Superprestige in Spa and the Masters Worlds in Mol. In addition, there were four US events including the NBX Gran Prix in Warwick, R.I., the Major Taylor Cross Cup at the Indy CycloPlex, the Ruts ‘N Guts event in Broken Arrow, O.K. and the SSCXWC in Portland, OR.

In the Elite Women’s race, Sanne Cant (BEL) took the win ahead of Lucinda Brand (NED) in second and Ellen Van Loy (BEL) in third.
For the Elite Men, Van der Poel (NED) beat out Superprestige winner Wout Van Aert (BEL) with Tom Meeusen (BEL) coming in third.
Three Belgians topped the Juniors podium with Florian Vermeersch winning over Niels Vandeputte second and teammate Gerben Kuypers in third.
