Charge Bikes are pleased to announce the signing of UK cyclocross and road cycling dynamo Jon Watson . Jon will be a massive asset to the team bringing with him vast experience of racing at the top level. Jon will also be a huge help with the development of the new Charge cyclocross bike, due to be released in the 2011 model year.
Jon has raced at the top level for over 20 years, enjoying success on the road, mountain bike and cyclocross bike. But, so there’s no doubt about where his interests lie, Jon recounts as one of his favorite achievements a third place in the demanding Three Peaks Cyclocross Race.
Jon’s next stop on his racing calendar is the UCI Maters World Cyclocross Championships in Mol, Belgium, this coming weekend. After Worlds Jon is in a unique position, as are other British Riders, of having to then race the UK National Championships which were postponed due to snow.
