After eight months of anticipation, the 2018 World Cup Waterloo finally arrived on Sunday in Wisconsin.

In the first race of the afternoon, Toon Aerts (Telenet Fidea Lions) dropped Wout van Aert (Unattached) in Lap 6 to take home the first Elite World Cup win of his career.

The women raced in the marquee time slot, and the race did not disappoint. Ellen Noble (Trek Factory Racing CX) and Marianne Vos (WaowDeals Pro Cycling) turned in an instant classic, with Vos making a move on Trek Factory Hill in the last lap to take the win.
