Tim Johnson wasn’t wearing his full Cannondale-CyclocrossWorld kit in his race to second place in the 2012 Raleigh Midsummer Night Cyclocross Race, but he was still proud of new teammate, Ryan Trebon, for taking the win. Sporting his Volkswagon jersey and Red Bull helmet, he chatted with Cyclocross Magazine’s Tim Akers.
Of his summer training, Johnson simply said that it’s been “nice spending quality time on the bike again.” With his second place against racers like Jonathan Page and Ben Berden, Johnson’s training seems to be on point to get him into the winning circle again this season.
