We have the benefit of having seen most of the international field race Zolder last month as part of the World Cup, While that race was a mostly dry affair and this weekend looks to be a wet one, last month’s fifth round of the World Cup can give some insight into what we might see this weekend at Worlds.
While we’ve been bringing you bikes from the 2016 USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships, we’re also showing you some of the bikes you’ll see at the World Championships this coming weekend. Today we’re looking at British National Champion Nikki Harris’ Specialized S-Works Crux Disc.
Challenging conditions on the technical course saw riders running through the initial turns as they slipped and slid around, elbow-to-elbow. With the tight pack and no clear lines, that forced some riders into the pits as they passed it for the first time shortly after the start.
