After a big weekend on the north coast of Belgium, the Cyclocross World Cup Series heads south to Igorre, Spain for stop number four. This year marks the 35th edition of the race and will bring the biggest names in Cyclocross to the Basque Country of northern Spain on Sunday, December 4.

In the men’s race, World Champion Zdenek Stybar (Quick Step), Sven Nys (Landbouwkredeit) and current World Cup leader Kevin Pauwels (Sunweb-Revor) will be heavy favorites for the win. Nys swept the races last weekend, winning the World Cup in Koksijde and the Superprestige in Gieten. Dutch National Champion Lars Boom (Rabobank) is also on the start list and should never been left out of the lead group, as he won the world title in 2008. Jonathan Page (Planet Bike) and Jeremy Durrin (JAM Fund) will represent the American contingent and Craig Richey will be the lone Canadian racing in Igorre.
