It did, however, allow Wout van Aert (Crelan-Charles) to cut everyone’s favorite figure eight video.
Hopefully, Van Aert and his rivals will get the chance to do their sand shredding out on the course this year. The weather situation is looking … better?

The start lists for World Cup Koksijde feature a total of six Americans. Katie Compton (KFC Racing p/b Trek/Knight Composites) and Elle Anderson (Cycling.be – Alphamotorhomes Ladies) continue their European campaigns, and they will be joined by Kaitie Keough (Cannondale p/b Cyclocrossworld.com) and Cyclocross Magazine contributor Christine Vardaros.
In the Men’s race, Jeremy Durrin (Neon Velo Cycling Team) and Andrew Juliano (Grit World Racing p/b Shimano) will be making the start.
Perhaps the most interesting entry on the start list is current mountain bike World Champion Jolanda Neff of Switzerland.

We saw Annika Langvad have a successful weekend at Jingle Cross, so we will certainly have our eyes on Neff and her madskillz.
