NEERPELT, Belgium—Sophie de Boer and Laurens Sweeck continued their strong cyclocross seasons back in Europe, looking no worse for wear after a long trip to the United States to contest the CrossVegas and Jingle Cross World Cups.
De Boer took control of the women’s race at the Soudal Classics GP Neerpelt, leaving Laura Verdonschot behind to fend off Nikki Harris for second. See highlights in the video below.

In the men’s race, it was two-time 2016 World Cup podium finisher Laurens Sweeck who took advantage of World Champion Wout van Aert’s absence and showed that he was the best of the rest with a narrow 11-second margin of Jens Adams, with Michael Vanthourenhout in third.
