Sophie de Boer is no stranger to the U.S. after racing the CrossVegas World Cup in 2015 and taking home a win in Vegas in 2016. De Boer is such a frequent visitor to the States, the folks at Jingle Cross made her one of the poster children on the barns spread throughout the Johnson County Fairgrounds.
I ran into Sophie before her Saturday afternoon pre-ride while she was relaxing outside the vintage Airstream the race organizers are lending to Wout van Aert. Check out my brief interview with the Dutch cyclocross star.
