Newly-crowned repeat champions Valentin Scherz of Switzerland and Laura Van Gilder of Pennsylvania wrapped up the 2010 Champion System MAC Series with Elite wins at Day 2 of the Whitmore’s Super Cross Cup in Nassau County on New York’s Long Island. Wisconsin’s Chris Hurst finished a close second in the Elite Men’s race for the second consecutive day. Meanwhile, the women’s podium, in fact the women’s top 4, was exactly the same both days. New Jersey’s Roger Aspholm swept the weekend’s Elite Master’s races.
