Sanne Cant wasn’t about to miss a World Cup in Las Vegas due to long travel. The young Belgian is already known to maximize her season full of cyclocross, which is her only love as a cycling discipline.
Cant arrived with three Stevens Super Prestige cyclocross bikes, each numbered to distinguish between the three of them. Racing on a CrossVegas course that she said was “really heavy” in a post-race interview with Cyclocross Magazine, she was able to get back right to where she left off by landing on the podium once again on a major international stage.
Much like Katerina Nash’s 2014 CrossVegas Orbea, Cant’s Super Prestige is Shimano Di2 equipped, although she opted for a double chainring setup, with her Rotor 3D+ crank mated to Miche 46/39 chainrings. Cant also went with cantilevers instead of discs much like the Colnago Cross Prestige of the Men’s World Cup winner, Wout van Aert, only her bike is equipped with TRP RevoX Carbon cantilevers while Van Aert employs Avid Shorty Ultimates.
