“I did my best, the first two were stronger, so I’m happy with third place,” Sanne Cant (Enertherm-BKCP)
The Belgian National Champion looked absolutely exhausted after her third-place ride at the 2015 CrossVegas UCI Cyclocross World Cup. Cant looked so spent after her first race of the season, as if she was struggling to find the energy to kindly respond in a non-native language.
In contrast to her disappointment finishing second by a mere bike length at the 2015 Cyclocross World Championships in Tabor, Czech Republic last winter, Cant looked satisfied with her third place at the Desert Breeze Soccer Complex, behind a dominant Katerina Nash and early attacker Eva Lechner.
Cant was completely focused on the race and result so far during her trip, but hopes to enjoy a day in Vegas. “Tomorrow I go shopping, so I can enjoy Las Vegas!” Cant revealed, and appears to have enjoyed her first cyclocross race in the States.
