Gravel tires have been a big player at the last few Sea Otter Classic shows, and this year was no different. This year we spotted tires, but also a number of products to help keep your tires running smoothly.

Ryder Innovation Nut Cracker
Ryder Innovation showed a small tire plug tool called Slug Plug at Interbike in 2018. For $10 USD and 15 grams, it is the least expensive and lightest portable tire plug tool we have seen.
The Capetown, South Africa company design team has come up with another ride aid, the Nut Cracker.

The small fork like tool holds a spare valve core in the handle, which also acts as a brake caliper pad spreader.

The fork portion is a wrench that will help to loosen that recalcitrant valve stem nut. The base of the tines has a fitting for valve core removal.
