Rick Abbott of Boulder, CO is on a roll in 2017. Abbott won his age group at the 2017 U.S. Cyclocross National Championships in Hartford, and on Friday, he added the rainbow stripes to go with his Stars-and-Stripes at the 2017 Cyclocross Masters World Championships in Mol, Belgium.
Abbott won the Men’s 70-74 category ahead of British rider Peter Mooney.
British rider Victor Barnett finished fourth and American Rob Ogren of Bloomington, MN finished fifth.
