Last year at Interbike, Redline sent out several of its Conquest Flight frames in order to showcase a few dream builds by various drivetrain and brake companies. Not long after, we received our own Conquest Flight frame, although we had a goal in mind of a workingman's build with SRAM Rival 22 components.

After completely building up the bike, we put it through its full testing paces and today we offer Clifford Lee's full review of the frame and build from Issue 28. For extensive reviews just like this one, be sure to order your backcopy today, which is also available on Uberflip, in the App Store on iTunes, and on Google Play for Android.

Use the slider below for impressions and detailed specs on the frame, build and ride, as well as our final verdict. More Info: redlinebicycles.com.

The Build:

We built up the Redline Conquest Flight with a complement of SRAM Rival 22, including Hydro-R hydraulic disc brakes. The full component group includes the crank, front derailleur with Yaw technology, and WiFli mid-cage rear derailleur, 1130-chain, WiFli 11-32 cassette and Rival 22 Hydro-R DoubleTap shifters. We have a full review of this component group also reviewed in Issue 28.

We built the frame up with an odd mix of components sourced from the bowels of CXM pit, including a BBB Carbonforce stem mated to old school Deda Newton bars and a Thompson no-setback seatpost topped with a Specialized Phenom Ti rail saddle. We used different wheels for the review, but the front Mavic CrossMax SLR remained a constant with its thru-axle. The CrossMax SLR was set up tubeless, while the other rear wheels alternated between tubeless and tubular aluminum and carbon wheels.

The weight of the frame is 1150g. Our assembled bike as tested came together at 18.6 lbs. with the Mavic CrossMax wheels.
