Day 1 of the 2019 North Carolina Grand Prix took place on Saturday in Hendersonville.
Caroline Nolan (Voler / Easton / HRS / Rock Lobster) continued her roll out east, taking her third-straight win. Raylyn Nuss (MAAP / MINI U.S. Cyclocross Program) finished second and hometown favorite Hannah Arensman (JA King Cyclocross) third.
In the Elite Men’s race, Kerry Werner (Kona Maxxis Shimano) led an all-Tar-Heel podium, with Eric Thompson (MSpeedwax.com) finishing second and Travis Livermon third.
