Mikolas Voverka and Robin Fišer proudly hail from the Czech Republic, home of the 2015 Cyclocross World Championships and fellow cyclocross frame builder Fort, which makes the Victor CX that we reviewed in Issue 18. Voverka and Fišer's company, REPETE Cycles, began as an inquiry of the Czech frame builders, and grew into a company that relies less on intuition and far more on computer-based design. They have been building bikes for the last year.

They currently make a road bike, a track bike and a cyclocross bike; the last they call the Grizzly, and the frame lives up to the name. At first glance, it looks like it is an aluminum frame, with large diameter tubes and smooth joints, but the bike is made with Columbus HSS Spirit tubing and comes with a Columbus CX fork. REPETE's cyclocross frame is silver brazed.

The frame looks ready for all kinds of riders, including Ryan Trebon (who might be looking for a new bike sponsor come cyclocross season). The back end certainly won't be getting clogged with mud anytime soon, with a massive seat stay tire clearance. REPETE's build process is either for a rider to send in their measurements, or a rider to discuss their preferences in riding and bikes, and REPETE will build to order.

The Grizzly is priced at $1890 for the frameset. Their current wait time is about two months.
