For anyone who hasn’t paid attention to the SoCal cyclocross scene, it deserves recognition for its tremendous growth and creative events. With races combined with running and mountain bike races, free clinics, relays and social events, series director Dorothy Wong and her supporters have grown cyclocross in an area that might have the most untypical cyclocross weather.
This weekend the series continues with Krosstoberfest, and offers free clinics and a relay race both days, free junior racing, discounts on doing both days, plus a dinner social Saturday evening. Don’t Miss So Cal’s Kross-Tober-Fest Weekend, October 10-11th
Join us this weekend for KROSS-TOBERFEST as the Southern California Prestige Series of Cyclocross presented by Shimano hits full speed ahead and celebrates its European roots with our version of Oktoberfest. Bring your favorite BBQ items and hang out in the park and picnic pavilion as we play festively flavored “euro” music along the way. Wear your favorite Oktoberfest garb and participate in the Kross-toberfest Team Relay Race.
The Course: The course is a mix of pavement and dirt and grass. There will be one section of artificial barriers per lap and one forced dismount run up. Each lap is approx. 3km in length. Races are timed circuits on the course based on category. We will reverse the course direction and make the appropriate adjustments for fun for Sunday’s race.

Directions:
Bonelli Park North Shore entrance is located at Puddingstone Drive and Via Verde North. Exit 57 freeway at Arrow Highwa y – Eastbound, then right on S. San Dimas Ave. then left at Puddingstone Dam and continue 0.5 miles on Puddingstone Drive. Head east on Puddingstone Drive. Race parking entrance is just past (east) the main Bonelli Park entrance at Via Verde.
