On the food side of cycling, CLIF Bar has moved from bars and gels to savory packets, with a few interesting flavors that we didn't think we would ever see putting in our jersey pockets. We tried all of their four new flavors, as well as a few of their newest solid bar products, and we have to say that Banana, Beet and Ginger is far better than you likely imagine, and Margarita Pizza is even better mid-ride when heated up on a hot summer day.

We examined and tried out three separate "do-it-all" bikes at Press Camp that look to tackle the cyclocross course and the gravel roads, including the prototype Ridley X-Trail, the GT Grade Alloy X and the Pivot Vault.

While the helmets that were shown at Press Camp were on the cutting-edge of safety, with the Kali Tava and the Scott Optics Overtake MIPS looking to provide the latest precautions against rotational and low-speed impacts, performance didn't suffer, either. Notably, the Tava is Kali's most impressive aerodynamic helmet, and is especially suited to handle the crosswinds.

ENVE and Stan's NoTubes showed off some of their latest rims, with ENVE releasing a new SES 2.2 tubular wheel with a revolutionary rim braking surface that performs in both dry and wet conditions. Stan's NoTubes released their first deep dish carbon tubeless rim, called the Avion, but they're far more excited about the Neo and Newo Ultimate Hubs that have been two years in the making.

Unexpected means of hydration was also a major theme at Press Camp 2015. Alpinestars offered a new baselayer with an integrated hydration pack, and Fabric revealing a new water bottle system that equates to a cage-free system (think being able to shoulder a cyclocross bike without the interference).
