On Day 2 of the 2021 UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Ostend, Belgium, four North Americans took the start. American Maddie Munro represented the USA in the U23 Women's race, while Curtis White represented the USA in the Elite Men's race. For Canada, Ruby West and Sidney McGill lined up in the U23 Women's race.

All four had strong performances, led by 2020 Junior women's bronze medalist Munro, with an 11th place as a first-year U23.
