If there's one U.S. cyclocross event worth your hard-earned vacation time and money, Jingle Cross might be it.
The event offers ample opportunity for attendees to be both participants and spectators, with three days of amateur events and three days of UCI professional cyclocross racing.
It all happens on one of the most challenging courses in the country in an area where Mother Nature often delivers surprises.
The festival also has a gravel ride, an expo, events for dogs and runners and a party on top of Mt. Krumpit.
If you're still on the fence, consider the fact that Jingle Cross is the world's only UCI Cyclocross World Cup that donates its proceeds to charity. The local University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital is the beneficiary of the three-day-event.
During the weekend, we rush to publish photos from the pro racing for our race reports, yet there is so much more to the weekend than a few top pros. It's impossible to capture it all, but we aim to document the event in its entirety.
It's not just about the world's best cyclocross racers. Amateurs, volunteers, fans and pack-fill participants all make Jingle Cross the great event it is.
Today, we've got a photo gallery from the lens Cyclocross Magazine's Andrew Yee, as he takes you through all three varied days at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Iowa City.
