It seems as though it was a holiday everywhere today, from celebrating Veteran’s Day in the US to the Soudal Jaarmarktcross Niel in Belgium, where Sven Nys and Sanne Cant took the respective men’s and women’s wins. Nys, who elected to race on cantis rather than his new disc brake-equipped bike, was followed by Wout Van Aert and Rob Peeters, who we haven’t seen on the podium much this season until now. In the women’s race, Cant took the win in her home country, followed by Nikki Harris, who’s been having a breakout season with a recent win at Hamme Zogge, and Sabrina Stultiens.
