Matt Shriver of Jittery Joe’s will be heading back to Europe to race the Cyclocross World Championships in Hoogerheide, the Netherlands, on February 1st. The Salt Lake City-based rider spent his holiday season at the Euro Cross Camp and racing the world’s best, and returned to the states to get ready for the upcoming road season.
But Shriver is certainly thrilled with the opportunity. “Thanks everyone! So stoked right now,” Shriver said on his Facebook Wall. “Finally, get to wear the stars and stripes!” (the national team jersey is currently more of a Tommy Hilfiger white)
Shriver joins Ryan Trebon (Kona) and expected team member Jeremy Powers (Cannondale – CyclocrossWorld). Stay tuned for more news on the men’s team.
