Mathieu van der Poel (Beobank-Corendon) is known for his fast starts, but his early effort at the 2017 World Cup Waterloo on Sunday was on another level. Van der Poel won the holeshot, and after a Lars van der Haar crash held things up in the second corner, the Dutch rider was gone to a wire-to-wire victory.
