The Masters 70+ Men followed the Masters Women 60+ at the 2022 USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships in Hartford, CT.
There were titles up for grabs from 70-74 all the way up to 85-89.
Warm temperatures, small fields, and fast racers marked the morning races.
22 people took part in the race, compared to the 13 in 2017 at the last Hartford Nationals.
Last year’s Masters Men 70-74 winner, Bob Fetherston, fresh off a Masters Worlds trip, defended his title. George Pawle was the runner-up followed by Charles Townsend.

Robert Ogren went from third place at 2018 Louisville Cyclocross Nationals Men Masters 70-74 to first for the Masters Men 75-79. Steven Toplitz finished second while last year’s Masters Men 75-79 winner, Jim Mueller, took third.
