During Outdoor Demo of Interbike 2015, we saw a few of Masi's cyclocross bikes, such as the Giramondo, which were more oriented for rough touring with the geometry and component selection. Masi was waiting for a bigger surprise inside, offering us a close look at two of their upcoming cyclocross models for 2016, including the CXR Comp and the USA Cross Campaigner.

The CXR Comp will take its place near the center of a whopping seven mass-produced models that Masi will be offering. At $1629.99, the CXR Comp falls between the sub-$1000 chromoly, 8-speed Claris equipped Masi CX and the CXRC Expert, a full carbon bike with a Rotor crankset and a price yet to be determined.

Masi offered a serious dedication to gravel and cyclocross for 2016 with their unveiled offerings. The company looks to provide something for everyone, beginners to elite racers. Even those who need to know they're riding a limited edition, Made-in-the-US frame have something to suit their fancy as Masi is also offering the USA Cross Campaigner, which will only have a total run of 100 units.

While Masi showed the limited model as built up with SRAM Force 1 and Zipp 202 wheels, the USA Cross Campaigner will be available as frame-only. The price tag of $2,299 will include an ENVE fork, Chris King headset, and a Masi team kit made by Castelli.
