Küat Racks makes some of the highest-end bike racks available. And the company's iconic orange details are easily recognizable, even underneath a mud-covered cyclocross bike. The company's popular and lightweight Sherpa trailer hitch-mounted bike rack will now stand out even more, with its bright white finish option. Even better, it has a slew of updated features aimed to increase user friendliness.

The Sherpa 2.0 adds a redesigned lever, flip-up and flip-down tire cradles and a bumper to protect against ground strikes among other changes. The weight stays about the same, but the price goes up a tad to $489 USD from $449 USD compared to the original Sherpa.

The new version of the all-aluminum rack is also reportedly easier to assemble, and the box it comes in turns into an assembly jig, so don't recycle it right away.

Worried the white finish won't last? The finish is an upgraded, durable powder coat, and the graphics aren't exposed stickers anymore, and are instead underneath a protective clear coat layer. The Sherpa 2.0 also comes in black or gray finishes.

The tire cradles fit tires up to three inches and an adaptor can be purchased to handle bikes with wheel sizes smaller than 24 inches.

See the updated Sherpa 2.0, along with the Transfer and Skinny racks in the slideshow below. And be sure to see all of our other 2016 Sea Otter coverage right here.
