At Day 1 of the 2016 KMC Cross Fest, a technical, off-camber filled course challenged racers. Katie Compton (KFC Racing p/b Trek / Panache) pulled away with a mid-race attack for a commanding, 44-second win over Ellen Noble (Aspire), with Rebecca Fahringer (Amy D Foundation) in third.
