Greenwood Village, Colorado – Colorado-based Pactimo announced today that it will be a sponsor and the official clothing supplier for Katie Compton during the 2009-2010 cyclocross and mountain bike season.
Compton is a five-time U.S. National Cyclocross Champion, two-time medal winner at the UCI World Cyclocross Championships, and the current bronze medalist in the U.S. Cross Country Mountain Bike championships.
Compton will race primarily in Europe, competing in all of the rounds of the World Cup. On January 31, 2010, she will be a favorite at the World Championships in the Czech Republic. “I really feel it’s within my reach. After two close calls, I’m praying for rain and gunning hard for the win,” says Compton.
Compton will be unveiling the newly designed Pactimo Championship kit at the upcoming “‘Cross Vegas” cyclocross race at the Las Vegas Interbike show where she will be defending her 2008 title.
