Katie Compton loves racing—and would definitely take it over openers on the road—so with the opportunity to toe the line under the lights at the 2017 Jingle Cross Friday night, she was ready to go. Compton battled Kaitie Keough into the last lap but did not quite have enough to close the deal against her rival. Compton still took home a second-place finish and plenty of C1 UCI points.
