Quoting from our 2015 pre-Nationals Singlespeed start list article from last Tuesday:

“Now that USA Cycling has eliminated the ability to contest both Masters and Elite title races, many of the older Elite racers have opted to contest the singlespeed title race as a way to add in another race and check out the course under race pace. Redline’s Lindine is one such racer. Will he trade in his Masters 30-34 title for a Singlespeed title?”

Well, we know the answer now, as Justin Lindine, who never even raced a singlespeed ’cross race at Nationals (he did contest the SSCXWC this year), dominated the 2015 Men’s Singlespeed race from the start on a cobbled-together old Redline Conquest Team carbon frame with a converted drivetrain.
