Maddie Munro added her name to a very short list of U.S. medalists at the Cyclocross World Championships with her bronze medal in the first-ever Junior Women’s race. The list of American medalists now includes:

  1. Tim Johnson (U23 bronze)
  2. Matt Kelly (Junior Men gold)
  3. Walker Ferguson (Junior Men silver)
  4. Danny Summerhill (Junior Men silver)
  5. Jonathan Page (Elite Men silver)
  6. Katie Compton (Elite Women 4 x silver, 1 x bronze)
  7. Ellen Noble (U23 Women silver)
  8. Maddie Munro (Junior Women bronze)

If you didn’t get to watch history with the full Junior Women’s race, it’s not too late, especially if you’re an Asian or European Opera fan, but if you’re tight on time, here are the highlights. They’re mostly focused on Anrooij, but Munro and teammate Lizzy Gonsalus get a bit of camera time.
