Exactly a month and a half after the 2015 Cyclocross World Championships have come to a conclusion, Europeans are still getting their weekly dose of the sport. In Verona, Italy, the local singlespeed series came to a close last week at the second annual “Cross del Tastasal.”
The course is hardly up to UCI regulations, with narrow passageways, long runs of singletrack and race tape darting through urban environments. Michele Colucci, who posted the above video on Vimeo, offered no names, but reported that all of the usual suspects were in their typical place at the front of the race. Apparently, the gathering on the outside of the course is just as important as the race itself.
