Praxis Works Zayante Carbon Crankset

Though this entry does not follow our theme of ride enhancers, we like to see the smaller independent companies offering new products that may be helpful.

Praxis Works introduced a carbon version of the Zayante crankset. We’re told there is a 200-gram weight savings compared to the aluminum Zayante. A 3-bolt direct-mount system mounts the chain ring to the arm or the Praxis Works X-Spider for a double that takes an inner ring as small as 32 teeth.

We saw the Praxis Works Zayante in use at Reno Cross, though not the new carbon version.

The new Zayante Carbon uses Praxis Works’ M30 spindle that requires the use of the Praxis Works M30 bottom bracket that is compatible with almost every BB type out there.

The Zayante Carbon crank will not have the 4iii Power meter as an option, but a 3-bolt interface direct mount power meter could work.
