Chicago, IL – The Illinois State Cyclocross Championships is scheduled for Sunday, December 6th at Montrose Harbor in the City of Chicago. This is the last event for the Chicago Cyclocross Cup.
Turin Bicycle of Evanston, host establishment and club, have assembled an enhanced prize list. The event will carry a cash payout of $1,170 plus additional merchandise prizes. The improved payout schedule includes a deeper prize distribution to the Elite Women and beginner women racers in addition to prizes for all men and junior racers.
Turin Bicycle of Evanston will be collecting non-perishable goods as part of a food drive to benefit the Chicago Food Depository. Riders are encouraged to drop by the store by Tuesday, December 10th or bring canned goods to the race site on Sunday, December 6th.

About Chicago Cyclocross Cup: The Chicago Cyclocross Cup was started in 2004 by a group of ‘crossers from local teams that had a strong desire to race in their neighborhood. They spoke to other people who had similar goals and before you knew it a series was born.
