We’ve given the Hilly Billy Roubaix race in West Virginia plenty of coverage over the years, but perhaps words and muddy pictures don’t quite do it justice if you really want to experience it without pedaling the 70+ hilly miles.
Thankfully, our friends at CXHairs.com are back producing videos again, and put together this fun little 11-minute film on the 2014 Hilly Billy Roubaix, won by Mike Simonson and Crystal Anthony.

The Hilly Billy Roubaix is the third round of the 8-race Ultracross series that continues into late November. It’s a race that’s measured in hours, not laps, so don’t expect late race drama, but the video does a nice job of capturing the vibe of the event, including the song written just for the event.
