On Saturday, Lars van der Haar made up for his disappointment with second at the Superprestige Gieten and ran away with the win over a small pack led home by countryman Corne van Kessel. Belgian Jim Aernouts finished third.
On the women’s side, it was a British affiair. Brit Helen Wyman took another win, with a five second victory over Dutch racer Sophie de Boer and fellow Brit Nikki Harris.
