Even though many of the stars were resting up for Sunday’s World Cup, the riders who took to the start line Saturday night at the Johnson County Fairgrounds put on a great show for the Jingle faithful. After years of racing at Jingle Cross, Sunny Gilbert finally ascended to the top step of the podium after a hard-fought battle against up-and-comer Clara Honsinger, and Gianni Vermeersch outdueled Steve Chainel on the slopes of Mt. Krumpit.
