In New England, the Geekhouse team—and their bikes—are easy to spot. They’re the riders and the rigs with the loudest colors and paint schemes. However, while Geekhouse may be known for their bright bikes, they are capable of putting together a stealth-looking version of their classic Mudville steel frame, and they did just that for NAHBS this year, with a color scheme that almost reminds us of the Trek Crockett and Boone.

Each bike is custom fit, and this one was designed specifically for owner Mart Walsh’s father.

The Mudville on display featured HED wheels with Vittoria Cross XG Pro tires, a SRAM Force drivetrain, and Thomson components.

Custom frames starting at $1399, with completes starting at $3350. The Mudville is, of course, made from entirely US produced double-butted steel and domestically machined parts. The frames are built with 100% made in the USA tubing, with a mix of True Temper’s Ultra-light S3 and OX Platinum, and the rear triangle features s-bend stays for maximum tire and chain ring clearance.

Stay tuned for plenty of cyclocross, gravel and general bike eye candy from NAHBS 2014 in the next few days.
