With the USGP Series cancellation announced back in April, promoters of the four race weekends have been scrambling to secure funding for their races. Today, the Fort Collins race announced that they would have to cancel the race this year due to a lack of funding. With Nationals to take place in Boulder, the Colorado ’cross scene will still be thriving, but racers who had Fort Collins penciled into their schedules should start looking for different venues mid-October.
